Monday Mania!!

Today was Evan and Jabins 5th birthday. I went to the party for their friends. Wow!!

The weekend was great. We brought my nephew Sam to the trailer with us. Went fishing , swimming, had a campfire, you know all the fun camping things. On Sunday we went to the "Big 5" party for Evan, Jabin, and Amaya. What a great day. My whole family was able to make it which made it really special. My sister from Waukesha even could come this time. Tons of food, fun, and of course PRESENTS!!!
I made this bag from the scraps I got at the GS on Thursday.

.
Have a great week.

Trifty Thursday!!

Here are my finds for the day. The pile of homespun was $1(don't worry Tina I'll share). The lady had one window(the one on the right) when I went to pay she said "Oh, I have another in the basement would you like that too?" No brainer there. That one she had just gotten a pane repaired and the bill on it was $14. I got them for $3. Not sure what will become of them yet, but I will think of something. I think the pail will look nice in the rocks behind the house with all the other treasures. Later today Tina and I are going on a mission to check out an idea we have. Keep you posted on that. Thanks Tina you got me hooked on here now!!
Have a great day!!

Take a break Tuesday

I took a little break from the everyday ho hum stuff. There is a saying at the campground we have so I made a sign. I miss being there. I had the old board from an old shed that I ripped some boards of off. My motto is "free wood is good wood".
Have a great day.

just a little something i whipped up this morning

I made these cute little cup and saucer planters. One of the gals at the campground wanted some hens and chicks so I thought what a better way to give them to her. I found the cups and saucers at the local flea market barn for Cheap!! (like 25 cents a piece.)
I better get something else done today. You know laundry and such. Then it's off to the garage to play with the power tools.
Tina will be proud I figured this one out!!

Recuperating after Christmas in July!!

Well, what a weekend we had. We had Christmas in July. Got to the trailer on Friday afternoon and got our decorations up. Ted with his Santa hat and I with my reindeer ears proceeded to spread some Christmas cheer. We ended up going to Stone Lake to the Pub dressed like that. We sure did have some laughs from all our friends their. We then went out to our old campground and spread some Christmas "CHEER" there.

Saturday we had some good friends come over (Linda & Ken, Herm & Sandy) we went to Mr. Bob's in Rice Lake to have one of their awesome bloody mary's. Then back to the campground for the Christmas Party. What a blast. Laughed so hard our sides hurt. Oh yeah, I did way too much dancing. It was the best and we didn't even plan on having any company.

I added a picture of Santa and me. Doesn't look like we were having any fun.

I think I will do some crafting this week. I am kind of in that mood. Must take after Tina.

What a great day

Yesterday the twins Evan and Jabin came to visit Gramma and Grampa. We went to the park in the afternoon. It was really hot (930) and humid so we didn't stay very long. When we got back the boys went in the sprinkler in the back yard. They had fun. Grampa even ran through it!

Today I went to Andy's house. Tina and Amaya were there too. We had some lunch. I think those two need to go to "blogger's anonymous"!! That all we did. It was fun anyway.

Back up north for the weekend, it's Christmas in July so I have to decorate our campsite.

Have a great day.
